“I think what Arsenal are doing as a club is amazing – on and off the pitch,” said Caldentay. “I think there’s a great attitude developing here, and I enjoy the way we want to play as a team.
Witnessing the amazing things the club has accomplished off the field, with fans cheering them on everywhere and breaking numerous records, has been an amazing experience. I’m eager to get going, assist the club as we delight our fans and win trophies.”
“Mariona is a world-class forward, and we are delighted to bring her to Arsenal,” stated Jonas Eidevall, the manager of Arsenal.
In 72 games, Caldentey has netted 26 goals for Spain, and he also contributed to their 2023–24 Nations League victory.
Vivianne Miedema, a striker from the Netherlands, will be leaving Arsenal in May after not receiving a new contract offer, the club announced.
