KARACHI: On Friday, the Sindh High Court (SHC) heard a challenge to the Sindh Building Control Authority’s (SBCA) order to close former president Dr. Arif Alvi’s dental clinic in the port city.
After the development, the petition was heard by the court’s two-judge bench, and notices were sent to the authority, the healthcare commission, and the province government.
The court has requested a response from all parties by October 7 in response to the plea submitted by Dr. Alvi’s wife Samina Alvi and son Awab Alvi.
The appeal against the SBCA’s sealing of the former president’s dentistry clinic in Karachi was granted by the SHC earlier today.
The former president’s dental office, Alvi Dental, is situated in Karachi’s Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society (SMCHS) neighborhood at plot number 23B.
