At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift made history by winning Album of the Year for the fourth time.
The pop queen became the first artist to win this accolade four times when she took home the trophy for her album Midnight.
“I would love to tell you that this is the best moment in my life,” the stunning woman stated as she took the stage in her acceptance speech.
She went on, “But I feel this happy when I’ve finished a song or when I’ve figured out the code to a bridge that I love or when I’m shot listing for a music video or when I’m getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show.”
The Anti-Hero hitmaker went on, saying, “The work is the award in my opinion. My only wish is to continue being able to perform this. I’m really fond of it. It truly brings me immense joy.
“I’m blown away that it brings happiness to some of the people who voted for this award as well. I just want to carry on like this. Swift said, “So thank you so much for giving me the chance to do what I love so much.”
Swift said, “I get to work with one of my best friends who is not only one of my best friends but also a once-in-a-generation producer,” as another way she thanked her friends Jack Antonoff and Lana Del Rey. That would be Jack Antonoff. I’m quite fortunate.
However, I believe that without the work that [Lana has] done, a lot of female artists would not be where they are now or have the motivation that they do.
“I believe she’s a legend in her prime right now, a legacy artist.” To know you and be friends with you is such a blessing.”
Additionally, during the evening, Taylor Swift captivated her fans by revealing that her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, would be released on April 19.
