As the most recent season of True Detective was released, Jodie Foster talked in-depth on the future of streaming.

The American director, who has been rewarded with a number of highly regarded films in Hollywood, recently had a confessional interview with ABS-CBN News.

The 61-year-old actress opened up in this little talk on her two roles in the recently released season of the popular television show True Detective: Night Country—that of executive producer and lead character.

Jodie expressed her sincere gratitude to the audience for making True Detective a worldwide success when questioned about her thoughts on the attention her most recent production has received.

“It’s humbling, sometimes it makes you scared because you’re hoping that what you love will be relevant to you,” the rising star of acting said to begin the conversation.

She added, “What you hope for is that other people would realize your reality in the same way that they recognize theirs.

Next, Jodie discussed how Hollywood really has to keep up with technology advancement and referred to this unavoidable progression as “the way for the future.”

“This is the present moment. The most intriguing stories or works of art, in my opinion, are currently available for streaming,” she started.

The Beaver alum continued, saying, “For me, the best stuff that’s been done for streaming shows is what I’m enthusiastic about for the awards event. I’m honored to be a part of that.

“Our industry saw a significant shift,” she claimed.
Jodie concluded by saying that industry professionals should take entertainment stuff into account.
