RAWALPINDI: On Wednesday, Pakistan successfully tested the multi-launch rocket Fatah-II, which is outfitted with cutting-edge avionics, an advanced navigation system, and a distinctive flight path.
Up to 400 kilometers away, the Fatah-II weapon system can engage targets with extreme precision, according to a release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Dedicated scientists and engineers as well as senior tri-service officers observed the test.
President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), and General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), commended the participating soldiers and scientists on a job well done on the flying test.
On August 24, 2021, the locally developed Fatah-I guided multi-launch rocket system had a flight test, enabling Pakistan to deliver a conventional warhead.
According to the ISPR, the Pakistan Army was able to hit targets precisely and deep within enemy territory thanks to the multi-launch rocket system.
