A wedding for one of India’s wealthiest families is more than simply a ceremony; it’s a spectacular celebration designed to stun even the world’s most powerful and wealthy people, according to The Guardian.
Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man, conducted the most extravagant wedding the country has ever seen for his daughter Isha in 2018. Guests attended parties in Rajasthan, Mumbai, and Lake Como, Italy, which were said to cost around $100 million and included performances by American music star Beyoncé.
Ambani is planning an even more lavish celebration for the wedding of his youngest son, 28-year-old Anant Ambani.
Ambani’s wife Nita, son Anant, and fiancée Radhika Merchant organized a three-day feast for the locals in Reliance Township in his hometown of Jamnagar, which began on Wednesday.
Anant, who also serves as a director on the boards of numerous Reliance-owned companies, is set to marry Merchant, 29, the daughter of an industrialist, late this year.
