A meet-and-greet with the Pakistani cricket squad was arranged by US Ambassador Donald Blome in advance of the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup, 2024, which is scheduled to take place in June in the United States and the West Indies.
Photos from the occasion, which featured members of the Pakistan national squad interacting with the envoy, were posted by the US Embassy in Islamabad on its X account, which was formerly Twitter.
Using a special cricket ball, all-rounder Shadab Khan and left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi provided Ambassador Blome some cricket advice during the ceremony, according to the post.
