Attaullah Tarar, the federal minister for information and broadcasting, has criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) once more, claiming that the party created by Imran Khan has been driving the nation’s agenda that is supported by India.
Following the revelation of Raoof Hasan, the PTI’s imprisoned Information Secretary, having contacts with an Indian journalist, the minister made this statement on Sunday. He continued, saying that the former ruling party had been exposed by the PTI leader’s interactions with a neighboring country’s media.
On July 22, Hasan was taken into custody following a demand by Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), for the country to take action against militants and “digital terrorists”.
The PTI leader, who oversaw a digital media unit, was taken into custody by the Islamabad police from the Central Secretariat of the party.
