The review petitions in the matter pertaining to reserved seats have been approved by the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), which has issued a comprehensive ruling.
The ruling states that the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) submitted the case before the Court in accordance with Article 185 of the Constitution. Only with the presence of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) before the Court could the power of full justice have been used. There were no pending PTI applications for the reserved seats. Those members were kicked out after winning the reserved seats.
The ruling lists seven of the case’s uncontested facts. The Sunni Ittehad Council’s appeals were unanimously denied.
