Robert Jenrick defends £75,000 donation following Labour’s criticism over giveaways.

The final source of the monies from The Spott Fitness, which gave Mr. Jenrick three separate donations totaling £25,000 in July, has come under scrutiny.
The BVI-based corporation that provided the financing to the company was first revealed by Tortoise Media.

The Tory candidate for leadership stated that the donation was “perfectly legal and valid” and that The Spott Fitness “as I understand it… is a fitness company that operates in the UK” on Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips.

In the opening moments of the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham, Mr. Jenrick, along with the other three contenders to succeed Rishi Sunak, spoke with News.

Kemi Badenoch declared in the interviews that she is a fighter and that she will “swing back” if someone strikes her.

Tom Tugendhat, meanwhile, defended his “posh boy public school background,” claiming that his military service has given him leadership qualities. James Cleverly, the former home secretary, declined to assign blame for the party’s defeat in the general election to any of the previous four Tory prime ministers, arguing that the public “don’t like infighting.”
