In advance of the 2024 U.S. Open, 15-time major winner Tiger Woods arrived at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina this week.
Together with Australian pro Min Woo Lee and Max Homa, the golf icon practiced on Tuesday. Charlie, the 15-year-old son of Woods, attended the practice round as well.
Woods played in last month’s PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, his last competitive event on the golf course.
Woods finally failed to make the cut. The 48-year-old has found it difficult to perform at a top level ever since he was critically hurt in a single-car accident in 2021.
He has made 22 starts in major league baseball, however he has missed the cut ten times and withdrew twice. Woods was able to do it.
According to open odds and predictions, Scottie Scheffler is a strong favorite to win in the 2024 U.S. Open.
Woods is unfazed by his recent run of bad luck and is still optimistic that he will overcome the odds and win at Pinehurst.
