TikTok is giving users more control over AI-generated videos in their feeds. The platform is rolling out a new AI content control toggle in the Manage Topics section, allowing users to adjust how much AI-created content they see. Whether you love AI videos or prefer fewer, this new slider lets you customize your For You feed, though completely disabling AI content won’t be possible.
Currently, the Manage Topics menu includes categories like Dance, Sports, Fashion, Health, and more. TikTok will soon add AI as an option, giving users the flexibility to “see more” or “dial down” AI-generated content according to their preferences.
In addition, TikTok is testing invisible watermarks to make AI-generated videos easier to track. These watermarks remain embedded even when videos are downloaded, reuploaded, or shared across other platforms. This applies to content created with TikTok’s AI Editor Pro and videos uploaded with C2PA Content Credentials.
The goal is to maintain transparency, ensuring AI content is always labeled, even when shared outside TikTok. This update highlights TikTok’s effort to balance creative AI innovation with user trust and authenticity.
