Alongside siblings Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael—who went on to become a pop megastar before passing away in 2009—he rose to stardom.

I Want You Back, Blame It On The Boogie, and I’ll Be There were among the singles the group enjoyed in the 1970s.

The third of the Jackson family’s nine children, Tito, contributed backing vocals and guitar playing.

As the final sibling to embark on a solo endeavor, he released the album Tito Time in 2016.

He continued to tour with his brothers, Jackie and Marlon, and on September 8th they performed at a festival in the United Kingdom.
Sons Taj and Taryll announced his passing “with heavy hearts”.

We’re startled, horrified, and grieved,” they posted on Instagram. “Our father was a wonderful man who was concerned about everyone’s well-being.

They continued, saying, “He will be sorely missed. For us, it will always be “Tito Time.”

“Remember to practice “Love One Another,” as our father always taught. Pops, you are loved.”

Tito continued to perform with a blues band in addition to working with his brothers. He was frequently referred to as the quietest member of the group.

In 2006, he served as a judge on the singing program Just The Two of Us.
