Due to a potential threat, President Donald Trump has acknowledged that he covertly switched aircraft when he departed a NATO summit in Turkey last month.

The disclosure follows allegations that on July 8, Trump boarded Air Force One in front of television cameras before hiding in a food truck to join a military aircraft.
Trump Confirms Secret Plane Swap.
Trump stated on Tuesday that the airplane he boarded instead could have been at “greater risk… because that would be the plane, I think, that they would be more likely to go for.
“However, the last-minute swap has sparked concerns about whether passengers left on the decoy plane were in danger.
The news was informed by officials that the US has identified a plausible Iranian threat to launch a missile against the aircraft.
According to the New York Times, US intelligence was aware of a guy who had been spotted carrying a shoulder-fired missile close to the NATO meeting.
The US president had been smuggled out as part of a complex hoax in reaction to a potential Iranian threat, but journalists and some White House employes on board were unaware of this.
What Was the Iran Threat Against Trump?
The president stated, “I guess there was a threat out there,” on Tuesday while traveling to an event in Ohio on Air Force One. “I didn’t really inquire too much about it. I receive a lot of threats.
He also stated: “I have a lot of threats that you don’t know about.”
The stealthy move last month occurred one day after Washington and Tehran failed to reach an agreement to end the conflict, prompting the US to resume military strikes on Iran.
Trump declared he would depart on the ancient Air Force One “for old time’s sake” after arriving in Turkey on a more recent Boeing 747-8 that Qatar had given.
How Trump Was Secretly Moved From Air Force One
He was seen boarding the presidential aircraft at the airport in Ankara on July 8.
However, the Washington Post claims that he fell from Air Force One onto a food truck that had been raised to plane level on the other side of the aircraft.
After that, he was covertly transported to a smaller C-32A military aircraft, which is a modified Boeing 757 that the vise president frequently uses.
According to the publication, in an attempt to make the trip look regular, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth boarded the C-32A separately using exterior stairs.
As they boarded Air Force One, journalists and several White House employes were allegedly instructed to close their window blinds. They had no idea that the president had left.
Journalists Did Not Know Trump Had Left the Plane
When they were instructed to keep the window shades down, a media pool producer aboard the aircraft claimed they thot it was strange. A photographer apparently opened a shade for a moment before being ordered to shut it.
The White House Correspondents’ Association published a report on Tuesday that included specifics of the producer’s remarks.
Additionally, they observed that the media van was too far back in the procession at the airport to be able to snap a picture of the president boarding, and that there seemed to be two food trucks at the front and rear of the aircraft when the press arrived.
However, the C-32A used the call sign “Reach 18” while the journalists were on board.
Why Did the Aircraft Use Different Call Signs?
The New York Times reported that members of Trump’s cabinet were still on the initial flight. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were reportedly on board, according to the site, which cited two unidentified sources.
The American party made a stop at the RAF Mildenhall air base in the United Kingdom on their route back to the United States from Turkey.
Trump switched from the C-32A to the vintage aircraft during the stop-off, but it’s unclear how this maneuver happened in secret.

Speaking to reporters on board that last trip, Trump mentioned Iran’s threats but made no mention of the earlier jet swap.
Trump said, “Because you’re probably on a dangerous flight because of the sleazebags we have to deal with,” when asked why reporters had been instructed to lower the window blinds on the aircraft from Turkey.
He claimed to be “number one” on Iran’s “list” and to have a “threat all the time” on his life.
