With its upcoming upgrade, Meta’s WhatsApp will soon roll out a new functionality that allows users to send media and messages from channels to iOS devices.
The instant messaging program is reportedly testing a new channel feature with the general public in an effort to improve the process of sharing media and messages, according to WABetaInfo.
With the use of this tool, channel owners can easily forward messages, images, videos, and graphics interchange formats (GIF) from any channel to their own.
By forwarding a message from their preferred channel and choosing their own channel on the forwarding picker page to receive it, WhatsApp Channel Owners can experiment with this capability.
By eliminating the need for middlemen, this feature enables users to transfer updates straight to their channels, improving the dissemination of information.
This capability was limited to Android users when it was unveiled last week. All iOS users can now access it, though, as it is currently being handed out as part of the “WhatsApp for iOS 24.13.79 update,” according to WABetaInfo.
It is significant to remember that in the upcoming weeks, this feature will be made available to certain accounts.
If, after applying this update, you still don’t have this feature, it’s advisable to update WhatsApp frequently via the App Store and the TestFlight app.
