On Wednesday, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman spoke with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh over the phone to offer his condolences for the loss of the latter’s sons and grandchildren in an Israeli bombing.
The head of JUI-F lamented the lack of response from the international world over the hundreds of Palestinians who died as martyrs and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their fight for independence from Israeli oppression.
Haniyeh commended Maulana in the meanwhile for speaking up for the Palestinian people.
Moreover, Fazl’s condolence letter was given to the Hamas leader by senior JUI-F leader Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro during their meeting in Qatar.
