BIRMINGHAM: About 16 English cricketers will compete in the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), including some of the greatest stars who have consistently performed not only in domestic events like T20 Blast and The Hundred, but also in T20 leagues throughout the world.
Many of them have appeared frequently in past editions of the PSL. However, some of the top stars will miss the 2019 edition due to England’s ongoing Test tour of India, as well as injuries.
Furthermore, not all of those English players will feature in the entire competition, as some of them are scheduled to miss the first few games due to their commitments with the national team and the ongoing ILT20 in the UAE.
The month-long competition, currently recognized as one of the world’s largest T20 cricket festivals, will begin on February 17 (tomorrow).
