The military’s media wing said Friday that since December 9, security forces have carried out extensive intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, killing up to 43 terrorists. This has dealt a serious blow to “Fitna-Al-Khwarij” and other terrorist organizations.
The security forces carried out an IBO in KP’s Lakki Marwat district over the claimed presence of militants on the night between December 12 and 13, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Own troops successfully occupied the Khwarij location, leading to the deaths of six Khwarij.” Since December 9, 18 terrorists have been slain in KP, according to the report.
On December 13 (today), the ISPR added that 10 terrorists were successfully eliminated by law enforcement in two different IBOs.
