According to Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stated on Sunday that “whatever he [the PTI founder] decides, we will implement it in the same spirit” and that the party was awaiting “clear instructions” from the imprisoned Imran Khan regarding the civil disobedience movement.
The imprisoned PTI founder had threatened to start a “civil disobedience” movement earlier this month if his demands—which include a court investigation into the crackdown on party supporters—were not fulfilled.
“There is no clarity until now,” Gandapur told reporters in Peshawar today, adding that the PTI founder, not him, had declared the civil disobedience movement.
Once “clear instructions” were given, he said, the party would investigate what choices were available.
