ISLAMABAD: Who made the promise to transfer Imran Khan from Adiala Jail to Bani Gala? The government and the PTI have not made such an offer in backchannel talks or during the present formal dialogue process.
According to informed sources, PTI demanded during the backchannel negotiations that Khan be moved to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but the government rejected their request. In November of last year, during a backchannel exchange between the two, this demand was made.
According to these reports, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was eager to move Khan from the Rawalpindi jail to KP, but the opposing side could not agree.
