According to a statement released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), authorized bank offices nationwide will continue to accept applications for the Hajj 2026 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
This step followed a request by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, which sought to ease the submission process for intending pilgrims.
In compliance, 14 designated banks will ensure their selected branches operate on the day to accommodate applicants.
The decision aimed to provide convenience and sufficient time to those intending to perform Hajj in 2026, particularly those unable to visit banks on weekdays.
