Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Moscow of employing North Korean missiles in the ongoing strikes between Russia and Ukraine overnight.
The president of Ukraine said that ballistic missiles from Russia’s allies were responsible for the strikes on Zaporizhzhia, which resulted in at least six fatalities and 19 injuries.
Ukraine attacked the online store Wildberries’ facilities in Voronezh, in southern Russia. In recent weeks, the business—known as Russia’s Amazon—has been the victim of many attacks.
Zelensky Says Russia Is Using North Korean Missiles
The assaults occur one day after Ukrainian drone strikes in the Russian territory of Tatarstan, more than 1,100 kilometers (680 miles) from the Ukrainian border, resulted in the deaths of at least 13 persons, including one child.
Zelensky stated that Russia “cannot wage war without reinforcements from North Korea” “for the first time” in a video speech on Monday nite.
Zelensky stated that this puts the rest of the globe at risk. “The more North Korean strikes there are here in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their shortcomings and blind spots.”
Zelensky also praised Monday’s successful airstrike on a Russian petrochemical facility in western Siberia during his speech.
The attacks take place a day after at least 13 people, including a toddler, were killed by Ukrainian drone strikes in the Russian state of Tatarstan, which is more than 1,100 kilometers (680 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
In a video lecture on Monday evening, Zelensky declared that Russia “cannot wage war without reinforcements from North Korea” “for the first time.””This puts the rest of the world at risk,” Zelensky said. “The more North Korean strikes there are here in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their shortcomings and blind spots.”
Ukraine Reports Large Russian Drone Attack
He vowed “more Ukrainian deep strikes, which should demonstrate to Russia and the Russians that peace is necessary”.
Zelensky has previously accused Russia of obtaining military support from North Korea.
Over the weekend, he issued a warning that up to 50,000 North Korean soldiers were being deployed to engage in combat with Russian forces.
Ivan Fedorov, the regional governor of Zaporizhzhia, said that Moscow had attacked the city with missiles and guided bombs after posting images of burning cars and houses. At least 19 other people were hurt in addition to the fatalities.
Air raid sirens rang twice over the nite in attacks on Kyiv, injuring one person. On the outskirts of the capital, there were explosions that started flames.

Ukraine Strikes Russian Facilities
According to Fedorov, the Russian strike targeted Zaporizhzhia’s non-residential structures, infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
For the first time, Ukrainian officials have not disclosed the quantity of missiles shot or intercepted, but they claim that Russia fired 120 drones and a variety of missiles during the nite.
It comes after the Air Force issued a statement on Monday advising the media not to “spread pessimism” or “sensationalized headlines” on the lack of air defense interceptors.
A hospital in Kiev was damaged by a strike, although officials claim that employes and patients were taking cover. Power disruptions were caused by strikes on substations in Kherson and Kharkiv.
Deadly Ukrainian Strikes Hit Tatarstan
Sergiy Kryvosheenko, the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, reports that a Russian drone strike on Sumy has injured two ladies.
He claims in a Telegram message that the women, who are 52 and 66 years old, received medical attention on the spot.
According to him, the attacks also caused damage to infrastructure, warehouse buildings, and private automobiles.
Separately, there have been indications of explosions and a fire at a logistics center in the Voronezh area of Wildberries, the largest online retailer in Russia.
Why the Attacks Matter
Wildberries reported that its facilities in the area, which borders Ukraine, had been evacuated but has not officially verified the incident.
Numerous small and medium-sized Russian companies experienced operational disruptions in July due to Ukrainian drone assaults on multiple Wildberries retail facilities.
At the time, Kyiv claimed to be interfering with supply to the Russian army and attacking logistical centers where Russians purchase military hardware.
This week’s strike on Tatarstan was among the bloodiest attacks on Russia since the full-scale conflict in Ukraine began in 2022.
What Next Occurs?
According to Ukraine’s Armed Forces, the attacks targeted the city’s Tanevo oil refinery, resulting in at least 75 injuries.
Large plumes of smoke and flames rising into the sky during the day were seen in verified photos on social media, with air raid sirens roaring in the background.
Seven of the dead were Uzbek nationals, according to the Uzbek embassy in Tatarstan.
