Robert Pattinson has responded to the criticism of his film, which was released nearly twenty years ago.
He recently spoke openly on the Twilight series’ audience response in a translated interview with GQ Spain.
“Man, Twilight ruined the vampire genre,” the Hollywood star started out by stating. “I love that people keep telling me that.”
Pattinson went on to ask, “Are you still stuck on that s***?” in reference to his 2008 debut Twilight film.
“How can something that occurred nearly 20 years ago make you feel depressed? It’s insane.
Twilight is based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel about a teenage girl named Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) who fell in love with Pattinson’s vampire character, Edward Cullen.
