Last Saturday, Emma Roberts welcomed a dramatic makeover at the Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood, changing her trademark blond hair to a “sunrise red” color.
Celebrity hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri created the color shift, which is evocative of her aunt Julia Roberts’ famous 90s style. Great Lengths extensions were added for additional volume.
Lee claims that the abrupt change was undertaken in preparation for an impending acting part. “We love this look on Emma, it’s a modern take on Julia Roberts’ hair from the nineties,” she expressed to People on Sunday.
Additionally, Roberts, who has 20.5 million Instagram followers, shared a before-and-after video of the makeover with her followers.
