“I no longer want to think of myself as someone associated with someone like that,” Jesse Eisenberg, who played Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the 2010 movie The Social Network, told news.
Eisenberg said, “It’s like this guy is… doing things that are problematic, taking away fact-checking,” on the Today show on Radio 4. “[There are] issues with safety. increasing the threat to those who are currently in danger in the world.”
Last month, Meta declared that it would deploy X-style “community notes” in place of independent fact-checkers on Facebook and Instagram, allowing users to comment on the veracity of posts.
