The 71-year-old actor, who is renowned for his action-packed roles in movies, told Haute Living that he has no plans to retire. He will be starring in the upcoming movie Karate Kid: Legends.
Naturally, I always perform my own stunts. That’s who I am. He laughed and said, “That won’t change until the day I retire, which is never.”
“When you’ve done it for 64 years straight, there’s no physical preparation anymore,” Chan said, describing his level of expertise in words. “Everything is in your heart and soul; it is muscle memory.”
He also mentioned how action films have advanced significantly in terms of technology.
