MARDAN—A gas leak explosion at a home in Mardan city, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killed at least six family members and injured two more, according to authorities on Saturday.
Residents were trapped beneath the debris as the roof of a two-story house in Aram Colony collapsed due to the strong blast. Eight persons, including women and children, were rescued from the wreckage by rescue 1122 teams when they arrived on the scene.
The Mardan Medical Complex was the first place the injured were taken.
