LONDON: In the midst of continuing tensions after a conflict last month, Pakistan has urged the world powers to step in and help resolve important concerns with its bitter foe India.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the head of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former foreign minister, made the call while in London, where he attended a number of high-profile meetings.
In order to refute New Delhi’s unverified accusations and give the world Pakistan’s viewpoint on the recent confrontation with India, Bilawal is leading a delegation. The team has traveled to the United States, is presently in London, and will soon travel to Brussels as part of its global outreach.
The delegation includes Senators Sherry Rehman and Musadik Malik, as well as former foreign ministers Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Hina Rabbani Khar, and Khurram Dastgir.
