NEW YORK: As Donald Trump’s conflict with one of the most prominent colleges in the world grew more intense, a US judge temporarily halted his most recent attempt to prevent international students from enrolling at Harvard.
In a statement released late Wednesday, the White House threatened to revoke the visas of current international students enrolled at Harvard and attempted to prevent the majority of future international students from entering the nation.
“Harvard’s conduct has rendered it an unsuitable destination for foreign students and researchers,” the ruling stated.
A federal court complaint was promptly revised by Harvard, which stated: “This is not the Administration’s first attempt to sever Harvard from its international students.”
