KARACHI: A pre-monsoon weather system is expected to impact the eastern parts of Sindh starting Saturday evening, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The Met Office predicts that Friday will continue to be a very hot and dry day across the majority of Sindh.
However, isolated locations in Tharparkar and Umerkot may get rain, severe gusts, and thunderstorms by Saturday.
On Sunday, Ghotki, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and the surrounding districts are also anticipated to see strong winds and showers.
According to weather scientists on Friday, Karachi is still experiencing hot and dry weather, with maximum temperatures expected to be between 37°C and 39°C in the days ahead.
