On an official visit to the United States, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir acknowledged the contributions made by Pakistanis living abroad to the nation’s economy and international standing through investments, remittances, and greater accomplishments in other fields, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Tuesday.
According to the military’s media wing, the army chief was welcomed and greeted warmly by Pakistanis living abroad, who flocked to Washington, DC, to meet him.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Munir conveyed his profound gratitude for the crucial and most important role that Pakistanis living abroad play as ambassadors for their country.
