During the Superman audition, Nicholas Hoult recently opened up about meeting David Corenswet.
On Wednesday, June 25, the 37-year-old English actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Corenswet. He talked candidly about his encounter with the next Superman, saying that he tried out for the legendary part but ultimately played Lex Luthor in the 2025 Superman movie.
“I walked around the corner and there was like, lots of shadows on the studio lot and then one ray of sunshine, and David had taken a seat into this ray of sunshine and was sitting there, like charging up from the sun, like Superman does, getting his power,” Hoult recalled while speaking with Diego Lune, who has replaced Kimmel for this week.
