According to Cricket Australia, the league will take place between December 14, 2025, and January 18, 2026, with the elimination series taking place between January 20 and January 25, 2026.
PSL-winning skipper Shaheen Afridi and Pakistani batting legend Babar Azam will participate in the BBL for the first time, thus increasing its appeal on a global scale.
