Shortly after it was announced that Stephen Colbert’s program was ending, American television host Jimmy Kimmel, executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, expressed his support for his buddy and fellow host.
Following the 2025–2026 season, Stephen Colbert’s time on The Late Show will come to an end, and the Late Show franchise as a whole will also terminate.
Kimmel wrote a poignant statement on Instagram while on summer vacation, saying, “I love you, Stephen. Alongside a repost of Colbert’s video addressing the termination of the show, the caption read, “F*** you and all your Sheldons CBS.”
