President Donald Trump attacked Russia and India on Thursday over trade, claiming he didn’t care what either country did, before the August 1 deadline to conclude a trade agreement with the United States ends on Friday (tomorrow).
“What India does with Russia doesn’t concern me. “I don’t care if they take down their dead economies together,” President Trump wrote in a post on X.
“We have done very little business with India, their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the World,” said the president.
The harsh comments come after Trump’s earlier claim that a trade deal was being negotiated between Washington and New Delhi.
