The tournament organizers reported on Wednesday that Pakistan Champions advanced to the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 final as a result of India Champions’ withdrawal from the semi-final match.
The defending champions, who had withdrawn from their intense match against the Pakistani champions earlier in the competition, miraculously advanced to the semi-finals by thrashing the West Indies champions, who in turn drove them over the England champions thanks to a higher net run rate.
As a result, India’s champions placed fourth in the rankings, securing a thrilling semi-final matchup with their fiercest rivals, the Pakistani champions, who ended first with nine points from five games.
