Robert Plant just wrote a heartfelt ode to Terry Reid.
The late musician was well known for turning down a chance to head the legendary Led Zeppelin. After traveling with the band’s former band, Band Of Joy, he suggested Plant to founding member Jimmy Page and late drummer John Bonham.
The 76-year-old reminisced about their enjoyable moments together after the news of Reid’s passing spread, saying, “Terry Reid’s enthusiasm and encouragement were incredible back then.”
He went on, “As teenagers, we repeatedly crucified Season of the Witch and crashed each other’s shows. A lot of fun. On it, then. He was everything. Such charm.
