RAWALPINDI: According to police, the leader of a jirga that gave the order to kill a married woman in the Pirwadhai neighborhood of Rawalpindi has made the startling admission that he killed the woman himself.
Ismatullah, the leader of the jirga, admitted under questioning that he personally killed Sidra after the jirga made its decision, according to a recently filed FIR.
He revealed that the victim was his cousin and that he had brought a firearm into her husband Usman’s home. He forcibly transported Sidra to Rawalpindi from Muzaffarabad.
