LAHORE: The summer break was extended throughout the province on Thursday by the Punjab School Education Department.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has said that all of the province’s public and private schools will resume on September 1.
In the past, August 14 was the end of the summer vacation.
Punjab’s summer vacations started on May 28 rather than June 1 due to the province government’s decision to close all public and private schools early due to rising temperatures.
