According to security sources on Tuesday, 47 terrorists were shot dead by security forces as they attempted to enter Balochistan’s Zhob area from Afghanistan.
According to sources, when security forces noticed a large group of terrorists trying to cross the Pak-Afghanistan border in Sambaza, which is part of the Zhob District, they were members of Fitna al-Khwaraj, an Indian proxy for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
According to the sources, the security forces conducted an operation against the terrorists from August 7 to August 9, neutralizing all 47 insurgents.
The sources also stated that Afghan nationals made up the majority of the terrorists slain in the operation.
