The white-headed vulture is “now extinct as a breeding species” in sections of KwaZulu-Natal, along South Africa’s eastern coast, according to Wolter, primarily due to human activity.
Former finance minister and PML-N senior leader Ishaq Dar has sparked outrage with his recent comments on several challenges confronting the country.

Speaking to the media at the Punjab Assembly in Lahore, Dar called the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) plan to submit a letter to the IMF “sad”. He further stated that writing the letter for personal gain against the country’s economic interests was unacceptable. He did, however, say that if a letter were written to the IMF, it would have no standing.

He pointed out that by writing the letter, the PTI was demonstrating anti-national sentiment.

Furthermore, in response to the delay at the start of the Punjab Assembly session, Dar criticized the speaker, claiming that his priority should not focus simply on vacating the gallery but also include important parliamentary duties such as administering oaths.

The former minister also mentioned the delay in the speaker’s entrance at the Punjab Assembly, demonstrating a lack of punctuality in legislative procedures.

Dar further stated that the election commission would have a legal grounds for not announcing the reserved seats for the Sunni Ittehad Council, which the PTI-backed independent candidates had joined.

Regarding Pakistan’s economic woes, he acknowledged the country’s concerns. He remarked that addressing people’s difficulties remained a serious task, especially given previous economic downturns.

Dar emphasized that the country has the fifth-largest stock market in the world. However, events like the Dawn disclosures and the Panama Papers scandal exacerbated economic volatility.

Asserting his commitment to national development, Dar expressed optimism that Pakistan could overcome its challenges with collective effort. He emphasized that Nawaz Sharif has been and will continue to lead the PML-N.
