According to a recent survey, Americans prefer firms to adopt a more impartial stance when it comes to public and workplace politics.
According to the poll, a resounding majority of both customers and workers stated they anticipate political neutrality in the workplace, with 72% of consumers and 71% of workers believing this to be the case.
Additionally, it was shown that while 58% of customers and 56% of employees felt businesses should avoid having politics in the workplace, 70% of consumers and 68% of employees expect companies to respect and embrace all political affiliations.
Weber Shandwick, a worldwide communications consulting firm, performed the survey to find out how positively consumers and employees view the political measures firms take during election years.
