A small plane caught fire and killed everyone on board, forcing the closure of a highway in the United States. An initial inquiry revealed that the plane was permitted for an emergency landing at John C. Tune Airport after reporting engine and power failure at 7:40 p.m. on Monday.
According to Metro Nashville Police Department spokeswoman Don Aaron, the pilot quickly informed air traffic control that they would not be able to land.
According to the US media, it is still unclear how many people were inside the jet, which exploded into flames upon impact, Nashville Fire Department spokesperson Kendra Loney said.
