Swiatek, who lost to Noskova at the Australian Open, will face Kazakhstan’s Yulia Putintseva in the last 16.
The 19-year-old Noskova, who rallied from a set down to defeat Swiatek in the third round of the Australian Open in January, appeared to be in complete control when she led 15-40 on her opponent’s serve after leading 4-2 in the first set.
