ISLAMABAD The leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, will leave on Monday on a five-day “personal visit” to China, according to sources who spoke to Geo News.
Insiders in the party said that Nawaz is paying a personal visit and would be getting checked up medically.
According to the reports, the former premier would also attend discussions concerning Punjab’s development projects.
According to the reports, the former prime is also expected to meet with Chinese business owners.
There are no more details available about the PML-N leaders’ visit.
Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan in 2023 will be his first overseas travel since he ended his four-year self-imposed exile in London.
