Alan Ritchson recently referred to Tom Cruise as “the most legendary actor of all time.”
In response to his comparison of Reacher’s protagonist to Tom Cruise from Mission: Impossible, Alan Ritchson said.
The 41-year-old actor was questioned about his thoughts about taking on the character, which was previously performed by Tom Cruise, during a recent confessional appearance with Jonatan Blomberg Interviews.
Ritchson responded by saying that he “never” left bad after being called “the most legendary actor of all time.”
“I would never tire of being compared to somebody of his stature,” he continued, expressing his admiration for the superstar. Let’s face it, he played his part and attracted a lot of attention to this project that otherwise wouldn’t have existed.
“I think a lot of people enjoy the show because he made them aware of it, but there’s some great IP, the books are great, a lot of people have read them and enjoy the show because of them,” he said.
For those who don’t know, this happened after fans became divided over Tom Cruise’s role in the original Reacher films after the show’s most recent season.
