When Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets alleged Jimmy Kimmel was a member of the infamous Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle, ESPN host Pat McAfee was put in a difficult situation and the late-night program threatened to sue Kimmel.
“We obviously don’t like to be associated with anything negative ever,” he remarked in response to the incident.
He went on, “We want our show to be upbeat, joyful, and enjoyable, but that’s because we talk about —- and attempt to make everything seem silly. There are some things that clearly enrage people, particularly when they include such grave accusations.”
“So we apologize for being a part of it,” Pat stated in an apology to the ABC host. I’m eager to hear Aaron’s thoughts on the matter.”
stating, “Hopefully, those two will just be able to settle this, you know, not court-wise, but be able to chit-chat and move along, ’cause remember, you’re allowed to disagree with people’s opinions.”
Jimmy had issued a forceful statement in which he rejected the athlete’s assertion that he was connected to Jeffrey, stating, “reckless words put my family in danger.”
