At the Islamabad International Airport, 14 passengers aboard flight SMR-129 were welcomed by Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and Ambassador of Tajikistan in Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda.
The aircraft was given the customary cannon salute by firefighters from the Civil Aviation Rescue and fire-fighting agency.
The Pakistan Air Force subsidiary Shaheen Airport Services was in charge of the flight.
On this occasion, there was also a cake-cutting ceremony. The Chief Executive Officer of Somon Air, General Manager of Shaheen Airport Services Islamabad Air Cdre (retd) Shahid Nadeem, and Executive Director of Shaheen Airport Services Air Commodore (R) Wasim Ahmed Khan expressed their happiness at the milestone.
Attending the occasion were luminaries such as the Airport Manager and Director SAPs.
