On July 27 at 4 PM, the Punjab government and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad-Rawalpindi are going to start working together to restore the Takht Pari Forest. As a component of the larger “Plant for Pakistan” movement, this project seeks to restore the forest area that has been harmed by land grabs and encroachments.
With this effort, the DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi is devoting substantial resources to addressing environmental changes. Public participation is encouraged in the campaign, with a focus on young involvement. It is encouraged for all facets of Pakistani society, especially minority communities, to participate in the restoration work.
With the help of this forest restoration initiative, Pakistani individuals may help protect the environment and promote a greener country.
