ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Thursday that he would soon unveil a five-year domestic economic plan aimed at reviving the country’s economy, in reference to the current economic difficulties.
At the Buna-Raast connectivity project inauguration event in Islamabad, the prime minister declared, “The ‘Home-Grown Economic Program’ would envisage measures to boost the country’s economy by uplifting agriculture, information technology, and other untapped sectors.”
He said months of discussions with the stakeholders had already resulted in the finalization of the program’s general parameters.
Much effort has been put into it. We will finalize it by next week or so. I’m going to tell the people what the five-year plan is,” he said.
